Rolling Recovery isn’t just a housing project. It’s a grassroots response to crisis. To broken systems. To families like mine — sick, scared, and stuck on waitlists while life keeps demanding more.

Every donation goes toward creating something tangible: refurbished caravans, sensory-safe spaces, emergency supplies, peer-led workshops, and trauma-informed community hubs. But it also goes toward something deeper — dignity, choice, and belonging.

We’ve already seen what community can do. We brought Christmas to bushfire evacuees with nothing but a Facebook post, a second-hand ping-pong table, and the kindness of strangers. We believe that same power can create safe places to cry, heal, and rebuild.

Rolling Recovery is about showing up for the people nobody else sees — and showing them they matter. We’re slowly collecting cans and supplies ourselves. But with your help, we can move faster. One donation at a time, we’re building something better than a system: we’re building a village.

🚐 Renovating Caravans & Containers: Donations fund materials, tools, and weather-proofing essentials to transform old vans and containers into dignified, sensory-safe micro-homes. These spaces offer shelter to those who would otherwise sleep in cars, tents, or unsafe rentals.

🧱 Community Hub Development: Funds contribute to establishing a shared kitchen, sensory garden, quiet zones, and accessible communal facilities that promote healing, not just survival. Shipping container hubs, gardens, and fenced sensory zones

🧰 Emergency Aid & Starter Packs: Your support helps stock essentials like bedding, hygiene kits, meal vouchers, and care packages for people arriving in crisis. Paint, annexes, safety gear, signage, and supplies

🌏 Land hire or purchase for future Rolling Recovery sites

💻 Creative Recovery & Peer Support: Your help also sustains creative mental health resources like our podcast, routine cards, free downloads, and peer connection tools — especially important for rural or isolated communities. Website hosting and maintenance (currently funded out-of-pocket)

📚 Education & Life Skills Programs: We’ll be running peer-led workshops on mental health literacy, budgeting, cooking, medication safety, and even car maintenance — empowering residents with real-world skills and connection. Free mental health resources, art therapy tools & guides

✉️ Advocacy & Outreach: Donations support the time and tools needed to advocate for systemic change, consult with other towns, and share lived experience truthfully and powerfully. Flyers, advocacy, and database-building to connect people to real help
